Update: These pictures are taken in Fort Bonifacio in Manila, Philippines. Everyone I know who hasn’t been to the Philippines and whom I’ve shown these pictures to are shocked when I tell them that this is Manila. Their impression of Manila is that it’s this really poor place. Well the truth is yes there are poor areas in Manila but there are also really nice ones like this.
The Nuffnang Philippines office is here in Fort Bonifacio so I go back there very often. Every time I go back though I see changes. There are so many buildings coming up with so many cranes that it reminds me of the development in Shanghai years back. The Fort area truly looks like it’s some fully developed Western country. Perhaps more of Manila will be like that some day.
