Those of you who have been reading my blog a bit in the past would know that I have a weakness for ice-cream. It’s true… and it used to be a chronic problem too. Remember the many many instances in the past where I had went to buy a whole bucket of ice-cream just to eat.
Especially when I’m stressed.
Many times I’ve tried to figure out my lack of resistance to the temptation of ice-cream. So I did some research and it’s true. There is actual scientific proof that ice-cream makes you happy. Apparently each spoon of that triggers the same pleasure center in your brain as winning money or listening to your favourite music does.
I have a theory that it probably hits the same pleasure center that is triggered by sex too. I tried Googling for evidence of this but I couldn’ find anything to prove that. What I did manage to find though is this Cosmo article saying that apparently there actually is ice-cream that makes you horny.
Nothing like what I’ve had but ice-cream at its current state is already enough to make me hold back on it now, considering how I’m trying to watch my weight lately. If you’re laughing at me for that, I shall only say this: “Wait till your metabolism rate slows down too!”.
Sometimes though I feel that while we restrain ourselves on many things, life is only worth living if we can sometimes indulge ourselves.
Which brings to the point of this whole entry. This 27th of October from 9PM onwards at 7atenine in KL there’s going to be Temptations, an event under the Horeca School of Excellence.
It’s one of those parties where there’ll be ice-cream and lots of booze for a good time! I’ve been for a lot of events with booze.. but how many events have both booze AND ice-cream!!
There are also going to be 4 Encore signature cocktails and you get to be taught by a Horeca School of Excellence Mixologist on how to make your own cocktail. That means the shake, muddle, mix and pour. All this of course along with some live acts to keep us entertained.
Kitteh and I are both going and we also managed to get our hands on some drink vouchers to give out to any of you guys who want to come: 10 pairs of them.
