Ever since Shorty found out that I have a friend named Robin, she has been making consecutive Robin and Batman jokes.
Just today:
Shorty: *walks over to me while I’m at the computer* HAIH…
Me: Yes? This Shorty, come over and say “HAIH” so loudly. Sure got something want to tell me wan.
Shorty: Yeah I can’t find a cheaper online price for our Bugaboo stroller.
Me: Then no choice lor…
Shorty: That time you said your friend Robin said better to buy online right? How did he manage to ship it back without costing so much?
Me: I don’t know… I’m playing golf with him this weekend. I ask him then.
Shorty: *SMILES*
Me: And no… Batman is not coming.
Shorty: HAHAHA….. that’s not what I was going to ask.
Me: What then?
Shorty: Is he going to be wearing his cape?
Me: Funny huh….
5 minutes later
Shorty: Actually when did you meet Robin…. oh I mean Boy Wonder.
Me: *ignores*
Shorty: HAHAHA can’t be that long right. Because otherwise I would have made many more jokes by now.
Me: It’s already a lot.
