Hi Tim, This is the 1st time I post on you blog. I am a reader of your blogs since err.. many years ago.. when u were studying in UK.
Actually this comment is nothing related to your post. I have a favor to ask. I am currently organising a charity treasure hunt on 11 dec (yes it is next week!). and I would like you help me to advertise this event… I am currently volunteering my free time to a non-profit charity organisation and we are currently helping the Sang Riang Welfare home for destitute and abandoned elderly Malaysian. What drew me to this project is seeing what 3 mere housewives can achieve with very big dreams and big hearts. This home now houses 101 elderly Malaysians (Indian Chinese Malay), caring for those who are mentally challenged, destitute and abandoned by their families, or have no family. Many of these people were found on the street sleeping. Walking through this home, all i could think was ‘who would abandoned their parents or relatives?’ Clearly people do and it’s totally heart-breaking. I’m very glad for places like Sang Riang that exist and care of these people who are in need.

My lecturer told me this a long time ago, a product/services cannot survive on its own. It has to pair with something else to make things work.

So, in my opinion, Facebook is where it is right now because it brings in games developer like Zynga. Imagine, Facebook without games (which is one of its USP and I know peope who would wake up early in the morning just to collect their ‘harvest’ before dozing off again), it would be just another social networking website.

The best thing about him is, he keeps improving the site. He creates demand without people knowing that they need it i.e. Facebook mail. He constantly innovates the website and having said that, I’m looking forward to what Nuffnang can do more in the near future.
